Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is a class structured around rejuvenating and healing the body. Yoga props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, and straps are used to allow the body to fully achieve each position comfortably.  This class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles. Those with medical conditions, please check with your physician if you have any concerns about attending yoga.

Yoga Level 1-2

This class is suitable for new students as well as students who have been practicing yoga for a while. Classes often contain a few optional challenging postures. This level is also suitable for students who are PREGNANT and students recovering from breast cancer.

Yoga can be an ideal way to stay in shape during your PREGNANCY.  This age-old practice keeps you limber, tones your muscles, and improves your balance and circulation, with little, if any, impact on your joints.
Yoga is also beneficial because it helps you learn to breathe deeply and relax, which will come in handy as you face the physical demands of labor, birth, and motherhood. In fact, one of the first things you learn in a yoga class is how to breathe fully.

Yoga Level 1-3 Deep Stretch

A quiet session to compliment your regular dynamic yoga practice. A small number of poses are held comfortably for approximately 3 to 5 minutes each. As muscles relax, this practice targets connective tissues and joints, specifically in the spine, hips, and legs. Each pose is designed to facilitate a deep, inner stillness and full stretch. Deep stretch can help prevent deterioration of connective tissue and increase our range of motion. This level is also suitable for students who are recovering from breast cancer.
