HOT VariYoga Sundays 1:00pm to 2:15pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:45pm to 7:00pm
Learn and practice VariYoga Flow Sequences in a heated room. Be prepared to sweat! Bring a towel and your own mat. Mat rental for Hot Yoga is $2.00. This class will be taught by various members of the AYC family of teachers, and you are assured a good experience with VariYoga! Heated sessions are held in the upstairs studio at this time. This class helps prepare the mother’s body and breath to open for childbirth. Yogic techniques of breath, movement, and more provide a basis for smooth passage through this powerful life experience. All yoga practices are modified for safety throughout your pregnancy.
This class is suitable for new students as well as students who have been practicing yoga for a while. Classes often contain a few optional challenging postures. This level is also suitable for students who are pregnant and students recovering from breast cancer. Purchase Yoga Class Passes
Combination class. Open to beginning students, but may contain more challenging poses and sequences. Options are given to those not yet ready for the more intense poses and sequences. Purchase Yoga Class Passes
A quiet session to compliment your regular dynamic yoga practice. A small number of poses are held comfortably for approximately 3 to 5 minutes each. As muscles relax, this practice targets connective tissues and joints, specifically in the spine, hips, and legs. Each pose is designed to facilitate a deep, inner stillness and full stretch. Deep stretch can help prevent deterioration of connective tissue and increase our range of motion. This level is also suitable for students who are recovering from breast cancer. Combination class. Consists of strengthening poses for the whole body. Blend of VariYoga flowing sequences with attention to alignment and moving with music. Purchase Yoga Class Passes
This is the highest level class we offer. Previous yoga experience is recommended. Build heat, stamina, and flexibility through challenging yoga flows. The pace is vigorous, so be prepared to sweat! Purchase Yoga Class Passes
Less vigorous class designed for those with muscle/joint pain, stiffness, weakness, or fatigue, or recovering from injury or surgery. Includes gentle stretches, breathing and simple movements. This level is also suitable for students who are pregnant and students recovering from breast cancer.

HHH Yoga is a Level 1-3 Combination class. This class is appropriate for beginning students, but may contain more challenging poses and sequences. Options are given to those not yet ready for the more intense poses and sequences.
- 1st Friday: Abs, Abs & More Abs with Kelli Janawitz A healthy core is not necessarily a hard core. Working from your own source of power, training the various muscle groups to be both strong and flexible. This class will teach a sequence of poses that target every area of the core.
- 2nd Friday: Yoga Dance with Jimmie Thomas Move through yoga poses choreographed to music. This is a fun way to get your heart rate up and move to the grooves.
- 3rd Friday: Deep Stretch into Flow with Marilyn Nelson. A rejuvenating session of longer held stretches followed by active VariYoga flows.
- 4th Friday: Variyoga Flows with Susan Porter. VariYoga is the foundation of our practice at AYC. You will stretch and tone every part of your body.

A physical, mental and spiritual discipline for developing strength, awareness, character, and consciousness. Many students call Kundalini yoga the yoga of awareness because it focuses primarily on practices that expand sensory awareness and intuition in order to raise individual consciousness. Sun Style. Many consider this the gentlest style, which makes it immediately accessible to the beginners, the elderly and those who have difficulty moving. At AYC, we teach a shortened 12-move version of Sun Style, developed by Dr. Paul Lam as “T’ai Chi for Arthritis”, as well as the Sun 73, also known as the Sun Long Form. This is a class for the newcomer to T’ai Chi, as well as those who have a basic understanding of the Sun form. Go to T’ai Chi for Life for more information.

Buddhist Meditation and Spiritual Support Group – Thursdays 7:30pm to 8:30pm
Open to the public at no charge. Doors will be locked by 7:40pm to ensure silence and security for participants. Current facilitators include Josh Newman and John Meadors. Meetings generally consist of two 20 minute Buddhist meditations with instruction for beginners, and open discussions designed to support spiritual development.
