Deepening our sense of feeling “in tune” with ourselves, with our intimate relationships and with the world, is a rich and joyous process. We will develop our ability to listen and come into rhythm with each other using some essential musical techniques useful to therapists, truth seekers and musicians alike. Within this practice we will uncover our age old romance with the force which is constantly “craving us into existence”. From this deepest and most musical of relationships comes a natural kindness and compassion, awakening a fresh and inspired horizon within our lives.
The Musical Universe (A workshop on sounds & spirit) To experience the principle laws within music is to gain an insight into the building blocks of all energy and the very forces which create us from moment to moment. Ty is internationally recognized for being instrumental in creating unique collaborations that weave tabla with other world traditions. He has become well known not only for his talents as a tabla player, but also for his extensive experience as a recording and live concert producer. He has been featured on many soundtracks for film and DVD, including the academy award winning documentary, “Born into Brothels.” Organically, these experiences led him to open his own Indie label “Tala Records” in 2004.
